I live at Huntington Beach, California
Born in 1968, I grew up in Colorado, lived in New Mexico (not part of Mexico
folks!) for a good 9 years before packing up and moving to surf city USA
even though I don't surf! If you must know ... better job opportunities out
here in the land of earthquakes, brush fires, mudslides, smog and stage 3
power emergencies.

My first exposure to The Church was from none other than their video for
"Unguarded Moment" back in 82. For several years, I only had a passing
interest in The Church. Around '86, I had heard "Myrrh" on the radio
occasionally and I loved the song, but still I didn't bite. Finally -- like
so many others -- when Starfish came out in '88, I was hooked. I immediately
bought their entire back catalog reissued by Arista. Been a dedicated fan
ever since!

As a hobby, I run a web site called The New Wave Outpost (see link above)
dedicated to new wave, punk, power pop and 80's alternative music. I have a
series of Album, Song and Music Video wish lists as well as MP3 rarities
recorded from vinyl.
