PRESS RELEASE: INTERESTED IN VISITING PUBS
CAMRA Pub Crawl of Lynn’s South End
To commemorate CAMRA’s 3rd annual National Pubs Week, their West Norfolk Branch will be visiting some traditional local pubs in King’s Lynn’s South End on Wednesday 23rd February 2005 starting at the Crossways at 8 pm.
National Pubs Week was originally launched in February 2003 to celebrate and promote British pubs in all their diversity, and to encourage people to visit them more often. The variety of pubs is one of Britain’s glories and CAMRA supports them all – even if they don’t all sell real ale.
This year the West Norfolk Branch of CAMRA are promoting that often forgotten style of pub, the old fashioned town community local. After meeting at the Crossways. we move on to the London Porterhouse, Lord Napier and the Live and Let Live. These are popular town pubs in Lynn’s South End and, being a CAMRA Pub Crawl, they all sell real ale.
Anybody is welcome! If you can’t make the start, contact 07732 754888 on the night and we’ll let you know where we are, so why not come and help us celebrate the British Pub and join us on our National Pubs Week Pub Crawl.
